Echelon Benefits LLC is an employee benefits consulting and
insurance brokerage company that advises employers and
individuals on a broad range of employee benefit and related
matters. Echelon is based in San Rafael, California.Echelon’s mission is to provide employers the information needed
to make effective health care, pension and other benefit plan
related decisions, and to assist with the implementation of
those decisions.
Dave Crutcher is Echelon's owner, a California licensed attorney and certified
public accountant who has specialized in the field of employee
benefits and related tax matters since the mid 1980s. Earlier in
his career he held tax and benefits Manager positions with
Deloitte & Touche LLP and Ernst & Young LLP. Most recently, Dave
was a partner in the San Francisco ERISA practice group of the
national law firm of Thelen Reid & Priest LLP, a top 100 U.S.
law firm. He left Thelen to start his own benefits focused law
practice, which he maintains separate from his duties at
Echelon.
